FORMATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL SHEEP VETERINARY ASSOCIATION

It is hereby announced that the listed six countries that have already hosted or will be hosting the next international veterinary conference have agreed to establish an international body for veterinary with a special interest in sheep.

This body is to be known as the International Sheep Veterinary Association (ISVA) and is to be governed in accordance with the Constitution attached.

The background to this decision is set out in the Preamble and interim arrangements for the formation of this new association are contained in a further addendum.

An application form for membership is attached for all countries with veterinary association to apply for membership. It is our aim that every country with a veterinary interest in sheep will become a member and contribute towards achieving the objectives of this International Association.
