The 7th International Sheep Veterinary Congress 2009 will take place in Stavanger, Norway from Friday 12th to Tuesday 16th of June 2009. Venue is Stavanger Forum (www.stavanger-forum.no). Focus will be on various diseases of sheep as well as safe food and all matters relating to the use of sheep in a modern society. As has become tradition, two pre conference tours will be offered. There will be one short and one longer tour, and they will involve scenic landscapes from the inlands of Norway to the coastal fjords. Some of the landscapes have been shaped by grazing sheep and their shepherds through generations and are part of the Norwegian heritage. These tours will try to show our guests some of these magnificent places and experience some of the culture. Scientific programme, critical deadlines, pre conference tours and accompanying persons programme will appear on this home site in due time.
